Atomic Clock (Gorgy Timing) App Reviews

Ive used this for about 18 months and its very reliable. I thought it was great tonight when at midnight, there was a fireworks display and music to celebrate the new year!

We were doing a trail run that people had to finish by midnight and I had my phone out for the countdown and the fireworks started in conjunction with real fireworks! It was awesome!

I reviewed this July 6 2010 and gave it 5 stars. Well, it remains the best. Beautiful graphics, great functionality and is always dead on with WWV. My only disappointment is that Apple didnt make the developer disgustingly wealthy and make it an integral part of iOS. ORIGINAL REVIEW... Top notch! Its like having WWV in my pocket! I was looking for an app EXACTLY like this. Apple should give the developer a boat load of money and include this app with the iPhone!

This is one of the first apps I loaded 4 Years ago, and it is still one of my favorites, I use this as my ONLY clock on my night stand. Clean design, atomic accuracy, cool and original clock face - excellent job! Buy this clock app! Update: still my primary clock- I travel a lot, and use the clock to accurately change my wristwatch. Never any issues with this app through the years.

This is one of the first apps I got when I bought my first iPhone (the 3GS). I still use it every single day. It’s my bedside clock on my iPad. When I play a gig, it is running on my iPhone on my music stand so I can keep track of the time. And I use it every year on Dec 31 because it gives a ten second countdown to midnight then shows fireworks.

Love using this to set all the clocks in my house, and the watch on my arm.

Ive tried a number of alarm clock programs over the years and this has been the one I always go back to. I like the simple, non obnoxious interface and it ALWAYS just works!! Great program.

All the features you need, including customizable display and alarms.

Great for synchronizing multiple cameras.

Just needs more alarm sound choices to get 5 stars. The current choices arent very good. Any chance theres a UI update coming?

This is one of the first iOS apps I ever downloaded. Still use it all the time. Very minor problems, not very many, and always quickly and correctly fixed! You cant say any of these things about most fly by night, obsolete or abandoned apps. Thats assuming they work in the first place which is a big assumption. A simple useful reliable well supported app!

Splendid app. First place to go to accurately set another timepiece, monitor the passage of our favourite non-spacial dimension, the approach of a crucial moment, or just marvel at an elegantly simple solution to an age old pursuit.

I use it as an alarm clock as well. Its nice, dim and easy to read. Never had issues with this app. Nice to know exactly what time it is.

This is app looks great, is easy to use and the developer provides outstanding support with consistent helpful updates. I like the alarm clock feature and the dim nighttime brightness mode. If battery consumption is now lower as advertised, thats a great improvement. And at midnight on New Years Eve you can watch "fireworks" right on your phone!

The exact time as provided from Internet Time Servers, well displayed and easy to use. As others have said, this app was one of the first I downloaded, and I still use it--for instance, every time I take a flight to another time zone. Whenever I need to make sure my watch is keeping accurate time (or to set my watch it needs it), I bring up my Atomic Clock app. Its a real workhorse of an app, and it "just works". 5 stars from me!
